What the aerial downslam does
An aerial downslam adds a grounded finish after a full M1 chain. It gives extra damage and can act as a combo extender for some characters, but a missed input leaves enough end lag for the opponent to punish you.
Input and timing
On keyboard, the demonstrated input is Space + W + left click. The timing matters more than pressing the buttons quickly:
- Land the full M1 chain.
- Stop moving for a brief moment after the final hit.
- Use Space, W, and left click for the aerial downslam.
Moving forward too early or buffering the input before the M1 chain finishes commonly makes the slam miss. The short pause keeps your position stable and lets the attack connect.
Practice routine
- Start in a private server or against a stationary target.
- Practice the M1 chain and pause without adding another move.
- Add the downslam only after the pause feels consistent.
- Test your main character separately; not every kit gets the same follow-up.
- In a live match, skip the attempt if the initial M1 chain did not connect cleanly.
This is a community technique, so character changes and hitbox updates can affect it. Retest the input after major combat patches.
